South Dorset Tory Stands Down Over Kylie |

A TORY deputy chairman has quit "under duress" - after he skipped election campaigning to attend a Kylie Minogue concert.
Daniel Smy, 31, went to see the pop star's Showgirl tour four days before the May 5 General Election.
But he claims he is being made a scapegoat for candidate Ed Matts losing his fight for the South Dorset parliamentary seat.
Mr Smy said yesterday the end of his appointment at South Dorset Conservative Association was forced on him this week.
He insisted: "I just went to a concert after spending the previous three weeks working day and night on the campaign.
"I resigned under duress - they are fuddy-duddies."

New chairman George Preston, replacement for Teresa Seall who also quit, claimed Mr Smy went "due to pressure of work".
